we know that in an AP the general term is given by a+(n-1)d

according to question a=7;d=2 and last term is 99

putting all these values

99=7+(n-1)2

99-7=(n-1)2

92/2=n-1

46=n-1

n=47

hence,required value of n is 47

given tn=99

a+(n-1)d=99

substitute a=7, d=2

7+(n-1)2=99

(n-1)2=99-7

(n-1)2=92

(n-1)=92/2

n-1=46

n=46+1

n=47
