Working out:

Let's do it by two methods:

METHOD-1)

Given in the question, The number of goldfish is less than the silverfish by 25%.

Let,

Number of silverfish be x

Then number of goldfish = x - 25% of x

  \sf{ \longrightarrow{x -  \dfrac{25}{100}  \times x}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{x - 0.25x}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{0.75x}}

We have to find by how much % is the silver fish more than the goldfish. So, here we are comparing as comparison to the goldfish.

How much more?

\sf{ \longrightarrow{x - 0.75x}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{0.25x}}

Now by how much more in terms of %?

 \sf{ \longrightarrow{\dfrac{0.25x}{0.75x}  \times 100}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{ \dfrac{100}{3} \%}}

{ \longrightarrow{ \boxed{ \sf{33.33\%}}}}

METHOD-2)

Let the number of silverfish be 100

Then number of goldfish will be 100 - 25% of 100

That is equals to 75

% by which the silverfish is more:

\sf{ \longrightarrow{ \dfrac{100 - 75}{75}  \times 100}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{ \dfrac{25}{75}  \times 100}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{ \dfrac{100}{3} \%}}

\sf{ \longrightarrow{ \boxed{33.33\%}}}

And we are done !!
