in an election for 3 seats there are 6 candidates. a voter can not vote for more than 3 candidates. in how many ways can he vote?​

1)if voter can vote for a single person complete 3 times

then 6c3*6c2*6c1=1800 ways

2) if voter uses his first vote ,then there will be 5 candidates remg for 2 places, and next 4 candidates remg for 1 place

so eq will be= 6c3*5c2*4c1=800 ways.
