In an election, the winning candidate received 48000 votes which represented 60% of the electorate. The only other candidate secured votes from 25% of the electorate. Calculate the number of electorate and the number of people who did not cast their votes?

no of people who didnt vote=5%

5% of 48000=2400

so total votes=48000+12000
