In an election, there were two candidates A and B. The total number of voters in this constituency was 60000 and 80% of the total votes were polled. If 60% of the polled votes were cast in favour of A, how many votes were received by B? Explain it

a got 36000 votes ,b got 12000 votes and 12000 votes are canclled.

Total number of votes=60000

p ercentage of total votes polled=80% of 60000=80/100*60000=48000

Votes polled for A=60% of 48000=60/100*48000=28800

Votes received by B=48000-28800=19200 ans...
