Connectivity check test - Using a tester, he needs to check if the battery has charge in it and that the two cells are in working condition.

Closed circuit check test - Check if the there is connectivity between two cells inside the battery so that it forms a closed circuit. If two cells are not linked, then bulb will be connected to positive terminal of one cell and negative terminal of another cell resulting in no potential difference.

Test working condition of the bulb - Check if the tungsten filament inside the bulb is in good condition and it is not fused.
