The velocity of a rectarding body charge from 90 km/hr and 36km/hr. Find the change in velocity in m/s

Initial Velocity(u)=90km/hr = 90*1000/60*60=25m/s
Final Velocity(v)=36km/hr = 36*1000/60*60=10m/s
Change in velocity ΔV = Final velocity(v) - Initial Velocity(u) = 10m/s-25m/s = -15m/s
Magnitude of velocity = 15m/s
Minus sign shows that the body is retarding.
