Total r= 4+2= 6ohm because this is in series

So we have to find pd in 4 ohm so in series pd always change but current reaming same so firstly we find current

Explanation:

V= ri so v is 6= I x6ohm so in this way current =6/6=1ampere then we have to find v in 4 ohm resister using same formula v=ixr so in this case I is 1 ampere and r is 4 ohm so 1x4=4 volt so 4 v is final ans hope this help please mark this in brainlist ...

Answer:

Ans. (c) 20J

Explanation: Total resistance of combination = 2ohm+4ohm= 6ohm

Current through the circuit can be calculated as follows:

 i =   \frac{v}{r}

which is =6v/6ohm=1A

Heat dissipation by 4ohm can be calculated as follows:

H=I²Rt = (1.4)² x 4ohm x 5s = 20J
