In an electrical circuit a resistor of 5Ω is connected to a battery 5V through an
ammeter and a plug key. Now in this circuit another resistance of 10Ω is connected in
series with the 5Ω resistor.
(i) Will there be any change in the ammeter reading?
(ii) What is the potential difference across the two ends of the resistor of 5Ω
resistance, when it is alone in the circuit?
(iii) What is the potential difference across the two ends of the resistor of 5Ω
resistance, when it is connected in series with another resistance of 10Ω.
(iv) What is the potential difference across the series combination?
