In an equilateral triangle ABC,AB=(3x+1)cm,BC=(2x+3y+5)cm, and AC=(x+9y+6) cm. find the values of x and y

we are given that the triangle is equilateral , so all sides must be equalAB=BC3x+1=2x+3y+5x=3y+4-----------------a
AB=AC3x+1=x+9y+62x=9y+5-----------------b
substituting a in b gives us2(3y+4)=9y+56y+8=9y+5y=1
thus x=3*1+4=7
