14% of the students are fail in exam because the students who are good in study , teachers pay attention only on them seriously and the students who are not good in studies teachers pay only a little attention on them so that is why some students fail in exam.

Solution -

According to the questión , in an exam 14% of the students failed and 559 students passed.

Let us assume that x students gave the exam.

If 14% of the students failed then the percentage of students who passed -

> x - 14% of x

> 86% of x

But , 559 students passed

So

86% of x = 559

> x = 650

Thus , 650 students gave the exam .

Number of students who failed = Total number of students - those who passed

> 650 - 559

> 91 .

Hence , 91 students failed the exam .

This is the required answer .
