In an examination 35% of the candidates failed in mathematics, 40% failed in Bengali and 15% failed in both. If the total bumber of candidates be 400, find the number of candidates who passed in bothe subjects.​

Answer:

Percentage failed in both- 15%

Total number of Students-400

Formula-

=15/100*400

=15*4

=60

400-60= 340.

Therefore 340 students passed in both the subjects.
