In an examination minimum pass marks are 35 percentage . A student obtained 400 marks and failed by 160 marks. Find the maximum marks​

the student obtained 400 marks. the student failed by 160 marks. therfore total marks required is 560 to pass .as it 35 per cent of total marks .therefore total marks are 1600.
