To calculate the examination marks in percentage we have to apply the below mentioned mathematical formula;

[100× Obtained marks/Total marks.]

By applying this mathematical formula with the given data in the question,we get;

=100× 312/650

=48

So,Nisha obtained approximately 48% in that examination. (Answer)

48% is the percentage obtained by Nisha in the examination.

Given:

Nisha obtained 312 marks out of 650.

To find:

Percentage of Marks = ?

Solution:

The marks obtained by Nisha in the examination are 312.

The total number of marks from which the test was given by Nisha is 650

Therefore, to find the percentage of the marks obtained we use the formula of

\frac{\text {total marks obtained in the test}}{\text {total number of marks the test is}} \times 100 = percentage of the marks obtained

\frac{312}{650} \times 100=48

After dividing the number 312 by 650 we get 0.48 therefore, multiplying it with 100 the percentage of marks obtained is 48.

Hence, the percentage marks obtained by Nisha is 48%.
