According to the question
15.95 g of copper + 8 g of sodium hydroxide => 9.75g of copper hydroxide + 14.2g of sodium sulphate

according to conservation of mass, total mass before the reaction must be equal to total mass after the reaction
=> 15.95+8 must be equal to 9.75+14.2
23.95=23.95

Therefore, the given data verifies the law of conservation of mass
