In an experiment 5Kg of a fuel was burnt completely and the amount of heat produced was found to be 2,00,000kJ. Find the calorific value of the fuel.

Calorific value = Heat produced\ amount of fuel

40,000 calorific value

Calorific value = Heat produced / Amount of fuel burnt

Heat produced = 2,00,000 Kj

Amount of fuel burnt = 5 kg

Calorific value = 2,00,000 / 5

                        = 40,000
