Answer:

7.3792 cm can be the actual height of object

Explanation:

Vernier Calliper having least count 0.01 cm

7.40 cm  will be read as 7.40 cm only

7.3942 cm  will be read as  7.39 cm  ( 42 after 9 will be neglected)

7.3792  will be read as 7.38 cm  ( 2 after 9 will be neglected , but 9 ≥ 5 so

7 before 9 will be rounded up to 8)

7.3882  will be read as 7.39 cm ( 2 after 8 will be neglected , but 8 ≥ 5 so

8 before 8 will be rounded up to 9)

As vernier reading is 7.38 cm

so 7.3792 cm can be the actual height of object
