In an experiment to determine the resistance of a conducting wire by Ohm's law the reading of voltmeter is (2.3+-0.2)volt and that of ammeter is (1.2+-0.2)A.Calculate the resistance.​

And 2.3/1.2=1.91

Now calculation of error in R is following.

As R=V/I

So,

∆R/R=∆V/V+∆I/I

NOW ,

BY PUTTING THE VALUES

We get

∆R/1.91=0.2/2.3+0.2/1.2

∆R=0.486

So, R=(1.91+-0.486)ohm
