∆PQR is an isosceles & Right angle triangle

PR = 1/✓2= Hypotenuse (<Q = 90°)

QR = PQ. (Isosceles ∆)

Find: QR

solution:

Perpendicular sq. + Base sq. = Hypotenuse sq.

=> QR sq. + PQ sq. = PR sq.

=> QR sq + QR sq = 1/2

=> 2(QR sq) = 1/2

=> QR sq = 1/4

=> QR = 1/2
