Area of any triangle= 1/2 bc sin theta
Where theta is the anlge between the two sides i.e. the angle formed by the two sides. Here the length of the sides is 20 cm and the angle between them is 30 degrees.
Now applying the formula 1/2 bc sin theta
1/2 × 20 × 20 × sin (30)
1/2 × 400 × 1/2 → sin (30) = 1/2
400 × 1/4
400÷4
= 100cm square.
Whenever two sides and a common angle is given, apply 1/2 bc sin theta.
