in ancient times cheese was not considered as vegetarian food,why?

because it is produced from animal source. but nowadays it is considered as vegetarian food because no animal is killed to produce cheese

in ancient times people use to think that as it is produced by animal that's why it is not veg and also the form of cheese is similar to a non veg substance
