Separate some leaves from twigs and put them into bottle ,then close the cap and keep them under sunlight for transpiration . After some time you will observe that all the transpired water drops collect into that bottle

Answer: Transpiration is the loss of water as water vaporized from aerial parts of the plant. The maximum loss of water takes place from the leaves. Therefore, it is must that the leaves must remain attached to the parent plant
