No. Of moles = 23.75÷95= 0.25mol of magnessium chloride

No. Of molecules = 0.25×6×10^23

Each molecule compossed from 3 ions

So,

The no of ions = 3×0.25×6×10^23 ion

Answer:

total atomic mass of MgCl2 is 95

number of moles = given mass / total mass

= 23.75/95

=0.25 moles

1mole of element contains 6.022*10^23

0.25 moles contains 0.25 * 6.022*10^23

=1.50 * 10^23

no of ions in mgcl2 is 3

no of ions is 3* 1.50*10^23

= 4.5*10^23
