The following are some of the reasons why restrictions should be placed on digging bore wells:
1. The extreme drilling of bore wells has commenced to the exhaustion of the groundwater levels.
2. In long term, the digging of more bore wells can cause draft like condition in that area; which will directly affect the vegetation, soil quality etc.
