Answer:

546 CM²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a Right Triangle = 1/2bl

Where b is the Base and l is the Leg  (Height)

Given

Base, b = 13 MM

Hypotenuse , h= 85MM

Apply Pythagorean Theorem with an actual right triangle.

a² + b² = c²

Where a is the base , b is the leg and c is the hypotenuse

ie 13² + b² = 85²

= 169 + b² = 7225

b² = 7225 - 169 = 7056

There fore b = Square Root of 7056

= 84 CM

Therefore

Height = 84 CM

Base = 13 CM

Hypotenuse = 85 CM

Therefore Area = 1/2 Base x Height

= 1/2(13 x 84) Cm

= 546 CM²
