Test Cross:--
It's a cross in which homozygous recessive whose genotype and phenotype is same:- is crossed with a dominant Phenotype :--To get know whether the Genotype is Homozygous dominant or Heterozygous.

In Pea plants:-. Gene for Violet colored flower is dominant on the Gene for White colored flower.

In a test Cross if White colored flower plant is crossed with Violet colored flower plant and we get all plants bearing Violet flowers...Then the Genotype of the parent plant is Homozygous dominant.WW
