In cases of injury resulting in a broken arm, there are possibilities that the sensory nerve or the motor nerve might be affected as well. If the sensory nerve is affected, the level of sensation on the skin covering the region might be significantly affected, resulting into loss of sensation. If the motor nerve is affected, it might be difficult to move to muscle back and forth, the slight movement might give rise to extreme pain.
