by using substitution method.
y = x/2
place the value of y in equation 2
1x/10 = X/2/5
x=x×10/10
x = x
ratio =jazz:nonjazz
=X/2:X
=X/2/X
=x/2×x
=1/2
so, the ratio is 1:2
