Desert plants have stomata that remains close during the day. They take the carbon dioxide in night & store it. In the next morning in the presence of sun light, food is synthesised by them.

Answer:
desert plants AKA: xerophytic
Explanation:
If the stomata remains open during the day, the plant will lose a lot of water due to transpiration. So, to prevent water loss the plant opens the the stomata in the night and takes in CO2 and utilize it the next day in the presence of sunlight for photosynthesis.
