They synthesise their food in night not in day time example like a cactus

1. In desert plants,stomata open during night and take in carbon dioxide which gets stored in vacuoles. E.g.: cactus
2. This stored CO2 is utilised during the day time,in the presence of sunlight to carry out photosynthesis.
