Suppose that a Nephite had 40 leahs. How many ezroms would that equal? Round your answer to the nearest tenth.

To Find : How many ezroms would that equal

Solution:

1 leah = 1/8 senum

=> 40 leahs =  40 x 1/8  = 5 senum

4 senums =  1 ezrom.

=> 1 senum  =  1/4 ezroms

=> 5 senum  = 5 * 1/4  = 1.25  ezroms

40 leahs =  5 senums

5 senums   = 1.25  ezroms

=> 40 leahs = 1.25  ezroms

Nephite has 1.25  ezroms
