In chess board find the area and perimeter for each square

Hey.

Here is the answer.

Let a be the side of the chess board .

So, total area of the board =
 {a}^{2}
Now , as there are a total of 64 squares on a chess board
so, area if each square=
 {a}^{2}  \div 64
Also side of each square=
a \div 8
so, perimeter of each square =
(a \div 8) \times 4
=
a \div 2

We know, chess board has 8 units from all sides,

Then,

Perimeter = 4×8 = 32 units
Area = 8 × 8 = 64 units^2
