Though in China elections are held regularly , only one party wins it because china has a one party system, hence inspite of elections it can not be called a democratic country.

The Democratic country has the representative of the nation or the country be chosen by the democrats of the nation i.e. by the people of nation, which is not the case in China and hence China do not have the democratic form of governance.

Explanation:

In country of China, the Presidential form of governance is seen. The Presidential form of governance has the President as the Supreme leader which leads the nation. In China, the president is chosen by the leaders of the party which are believed to represent the people of the nation. There is no voting system.
