In class of 64 students the number of boys are3/5of number of girls Find the number of boys and girls in aclass

Let the number of girls be x

the number of boys be ⅗x

ATP

x+⅗x = 64

=) (5x+3x)/5 = 64

=) 8x/5 = 64

=) x = 64×⅝

=) x = 40

Ans:- Girls = 40

Boys = ⅗×40 = 24
