Ohkies... easy one..i will start with Gametiganl contact...
Gametangial contact is one of sexual method of reproduction in kingdom fungi.
In this kingdom.. sexual reproduction is done through following steps
1)Plasmogamy
2)Karyogamy
3)meiosis
Now,What is Gametangial COntact? :_____ First of all male and female sex organ develop on fungal hyphae.Male sex organ " Antheridium" female sex organ " oogonium" both are uninucleate.Male fungal sex organ come in contact with each other and a fertilizing tube is develop between them.and nucleus transfer from male to female.fertilization occur.Result of this is zygote meiosis occur in zygote and produce haploid sopre after that they grow and mycelium is produced..
And oogonium is FEMALE
