X+Y =3 => y= 3-x now put x= 1,2,3 one by one you will get y = 2, 1 , 0 now the points are (1,2) ; (2,1);(3,0) plot them on the graph you will get a straight line similarly find the coordinates of second line and plot them on graph the coordinate of the interesting points are the value of x and y You will get the answer

solve the equations and the plot the values on a graph paper ,u will get two intersecting straight lines...n thus the values of x co-ordinate and y co-ordinate respectively at the point of intersection.
