Falling of the big trees is due the impact of strong winds on the tree and flow separation and turbulence formation due high speed flow around a tree. After the initiation there is a shift in the Center of Gravity and rigidity of the tree trunk brings the tree down. When high speed winds blow, the trees foliage act as a barrier to the flow of the wind. Imagine a body held against the flow. Air always tries to maintain least resistance and so tries to push the sphere away. Also the eddies or turbulence downstream leads to a region of low pressure and pulls the tree along the flow.. wind turbinescan generate is determined in large part by wind .. is applied according to Newton's Laws of Motion.
