In defining the standard of length ( the metre ) , we have

to specify the temperature at which the measurement should be

made . Are we justified in calling length a fundamental quantity , if

another physical quantity ( Temperature) has to be specified in

choosing a standard ?​

No we can't do that

if temperature increases length increases and if temperature decreases length decreases.So for definig length we have to specify temp

buy we can't say temp increases as length increases
