determination method;

1/3x×y=10/3;2x+1/4y=11/4

--------------------------------------

✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰

 \frac{1}{3} x + y =  \frac{10}{3}  \:  -  -  -  -  -  - (1)

2x +  \frac{1}{4} y =  \frac{11}{4}  -  -  -  -  - (2)

multiply equation (1) by 3 and multiply equation (2) by 4.

3 \times  \frac{1}{3} x + 3 \times y = 3 \times  \frac{10}{3}

4×2x +4×1/4y=4×11/4

x + 3y = 10 -  -  -  -  - (3)

8x + y = 11 -  -  -  -  - (4)

multiply equation (3) by 1.and multiply equation (4) by 3.

1 \times x + 1 \times 3y = 1 \times 10

3 \times 8x + 3 \times y = 3 \times 11

x + 3y  = 10 -  -  -  -( 5)

24x + 3y = 33 -  -  -  - (6)

subtracting equation (5) and (6)

x + 3y = 10

 24x  + 3y = 33

 -   \: \:  \:  \:  -  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:   -

-------------------------

 - 23x =  - 23

x =   \frac{ - 23}{ - 23}

x = 1

put the value x=1in equation (4)

8x + y = 11 -  -  -  - (4)

8 \times 1 + y = 11

8 + y = 11

y = 11 - 8

y = 3

•⊰❂⊱• The solution is x=1 and y=3
