Explanation:

(1) since cathode is connected to negative then the gas collected at cathode has positive sign which is hydrogen

since anode is connected to negative then the gas connected to anode is Oxygen

(2) because hydrogen has 2molecule while the oxygen has only 1molecule

(3) because it work as a catalyst

Answer:

Explanation:

1)The gas collected at anode is oxygen and gas collected at cathode is hydrogen.

2)The volume of hydrogen is double the time of oxygen because the water has 2 parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen.

3)Diluted H2SO4 is added to increase the conductivity of ions present.
