There are total 5 types of device used to collect current which is called Collectors:

1. Trolly Collector : This collector is used in most Tramways and trolley buses. This is suitable for low speed.
2. Bow Collector : This advanced then Trolly Collector and was widely used until Pantograph comes into existence.
