The three Allusions (references) in Emerson’s “Society and Solitude”: The first one is slavery and political imperatives of slavery. The next allusion he used is work and technology as reciprocal to each other in the background of solitude. His third reference is a broader one,  philosophy of the human history

Society and Solitude is a twelve essays collection written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

In this collection, he made three allusions; allusions are references to a certain aspect without mentioning it explicitly.

The first refers to slavery and what are the political imperatives that should be taken in terms of slavery.

The second allusion is set in the background of solitude.

With this backdrop, he speaks about the interdependence of technology and work, and how they are proportional to each other.

The third reference is on the human history and its philosophy.
