The equitorial region is farthest from the poles. It is the point nearest to the sun on the earth. So it recieves maximum sunlight. More sunlight means more heat, more heat means more temperature. More temperature heats up the air and causes it to rise as hot air is lighter than cold air. Because the air rises up, low pressure is created and to fill this low pressure, air rushes to this region. Air from the seas and oceans is moisture laden. This moisture forms clouds and so equitorial region is always full of clouds.

Because of latent heat and condensation. The heat passes to the clouds in a hidden form
