In every chemical reaction of a substance X ,the mass of the product formed is greater than the mass of X taken for the reaction.What kind of the substance is X?

Substance X is an element . This is because when an element undergoes a reaction , it will change to compound and mass of the compound of that element is obviously greater than the mass of element . For Example


(1) Carbon when burns is the presence of oxygen :


C +O2 》CO2

So mass of C is 12. Am mass of product us 44. That greater then mass of C.
