By simple logic
3 questions should be wrong if you wanna lose 1 mark
Only if it is 1/3 for every wrong answer

Hope this helps you my friend

1/3 marks will b deducted for each wrong answer. Now, let the number of questions which has to b marked wrong be 'x'.
So ATC,
( 1/3)x = 1
Or, x = 3
So 3 answers of the questions shall b marked wrong so that 1 mark is deducted.

OR

Let,
1/3 marks = 1 answer (which is marked wrng)
So, multiplying 3 to both sides,
1 mark = 3 answers (which has to b marked wrong)
So, for 1 mark deduction, 3 wrong answers should be given.

I have given 2 methods... See which 1 is best for u.

Hope it helped you a lot...
