one side of the square field = 84 m
area of the square field = (84 x 84) sq m
let the width of the rectangular field be w m
of the rectangular field:-
length = 147 m
width = w m
area = (147 x w) sq m
now,
area of the rectangular field = area of the square field
147 x w= 84 x 84
=> w =( 84 x 84)/147
= 48
therefore width of the rectangular field is 48 m
