Hii!!!
-------------------------
Construct a line XP parallel to AB or CD.
=) XPBA and XPCD are llgms.
In a parallelogram XPBA :
Diagonal AP divides parallelogram into two equal part.
=) Area of Triangle XPA = 1/2 * Area of llgm XPBA..... Eq. 1.
In a parallelogram XPCD :
Diagonal DP divides parallelogram into two equal part.
=) Area of Triangle XPD = 1/2 * Area of a llgm XPCD..... Eq. 2.
Add eq 1 and 2..
=) Area of Triangle XPA + Area of Triangle XPD = 1/2* Area of llgm XPBA + 1/2 * Area of llgm XPCD
=) Area of Triangle APD = 1/2 (Area of llgm XPBA + Area of llgm XPCD)
=) Area of Triangle APD = 1/2 * Area of a llgm ABCD
=) Area of Triangle APD = 1/2 * 80 cm^2
=) Area of Triangle APD = 40 cm^2.
Hope it's helpful to u.
