Since AB||CD
<DCB=<ABC=58
therefore in triangle ABE
79=x+<ABE(ext angle of a triangle)
therefore
x=21
<ACE=3*21=63
therefore in triangle ACE
y=180-(63+79)
y=38
<DCB=<ABC=58
therefore in triangle ABE
79=x+<ABE(ext angle of a triangle)
therefore
x=21
<ACE=3*21=63
therefore in triangle ACE
y=180-(63+79)
y=38

answer is B as 180-79=101 (linear pair)
then 101+58=159 so it will be 180-159 is 21
and as AB//CB so angle B will be 58.
and angle C will be x+y
as x+y+3x+58=180
so 4x+y=122
as x = 21 then 4×21=84
84+y=180 then y=38
then 101+58=159 so it will be 180-159 is 21
and as AB//CB so angle B will be 58.
and angle C will be x+y
as x+y+3x+58=180
so 4x+y=122
as x = 21 then 4×21=84
84+y=180 then y=38
