In figure, AB = 28 m, AC = 24 m, BC = 20 m, CG = 32 m, AG = 40 m and D is mid-point of AG.
Find the area of the quadrilateral ABCD

Anyone who knows the answer please help.I want both answer and solution:)​

Answer:

AB= 28m

BC = 20m

CD = AB = 28m

DA = 20m

area of rectangle = l×b

= (28×20)m = 560m^2

In ∆CDG

CD = 28m

DG =20m

GC =32m

area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × CD × DG

= 1/2 × 28m × 20m

= 28m × 10m = 280m^2

area of quadrilateral = area of sq. + area of ∆

= (560 + 280)m^2

= 840m^2
