The character sketch of Monsieur Oreille  in the novel 'The umbrella'

                          Monsieur Oreille was the husband of the main character Madame Oreille of the story in the novel 'The Umbrella'. He was a mid-aged man who worked as a clerk in an office. He had to follow his wife's rules and regulations about saving money.

                          As his wife was a miserly woman, he often did not receive enough pocket money. He was a simple and patient man and he never complained about his old clothes or the old umbrella which he had to use.
